Homeschooling Special Needs Children
Homeschooling can work for children with special needs. Curriculum can be tailored specifically to fit the child's strengths and learning style. Proper emotional and educational support, as well as proper time for these supports can be built into a custom curriculum. Accommodations can be made one on one which are difficult in a classroom.

SHiNE has a support group for families who are homeschooling special needs kids. We get together on a regular basis and share ideas.
