SHiNEKiDS Forum

The SHiNEKiDS Forum is a an adult monitored discussion group for the children of SHiNE families.  It is a special section of the SHiNE Members' Forum set aside for kids and teens to get to know one another and share information.

Children registered on the forum have the ability to view and post only on the SHiNEKiDs section.  They do not have access to the adult sections of the forum.

If your child is registered on the forum, you will be able to view (but not post to) the SHiNEKiDs section.

Parents are required to actively supervise their children's activities on the SHiNEKiDs forum.

How do my kids join the SHiNEKiDs Forum?

• You, the parent must initiate the process.  Each child registering on the SHiNEKiDs forum must have their own email address.  Free email addresses are available from MSN or Google.
• To register requires two steps:
  • First, the parent must send an email (from the address used on your SHiNE Membership form) to the Forum Administrator at admin@shine-hs.com including each child's name and e-mail address.
  • Second have each child submit a registration at the forum:
    • Go to http://forums.shine-hs.invisionzone.com
    • Where it says: Welcome Guest ( Log In | Register ) click on Register
    • Review the Registration Terms & Rules. If you wish to continue, click on the box that says: I have read, understood and agree to these rules and conditions and then click on Register
    • Fill in the blanks and hit Submit my registration
  • That's it! Now, the forum administrator will verify the registration against the e-mail addresses you sent and complete the registration. Your child will receive an e-mail message when their registration has been validated. The processing time may be up to 5-7 days.
